So Many Different Opinions

Wow, there are so many different view points on nutrition these days! Vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, soy, no soy, no night shade vegetables, coconut oil, eggs, who do you listen to?

And the "research", what or how do you believe the research when there are so many different variables? Generally, the research only pertains to one specific topic (i.e. - people who consume 1.5 eggs per week have nearly 5 times the risk for colon cancer). There is no information here about the rest of these at risk egg eaters. Also, this was a study published in the International Journal of Cancer, who is behind this?

Now that there is so much information for us to consume (I'm so funny!) we must be even more vigilant that we use our common sense to either have a nutritionist or naturopath to discuss this with. You still need to use your own judgement of course but at least find someone who has a background in health and nutrition and come up with a sensible, fact based conclusion.
